some people have been emailing me not understanding my pictures of this place, so to make it simple lets just say that all of these statues and ponds and parks are my back yard. Yeah i know WOW! but those were only about 1/2 of the things to see in my back yard so you can only imagine how much it costs to get a place like this. if you want to know i'll tell you ................... only 300 canadian a month and to make that even sweeter my agent pays for 2/3 of it. once again yeah i know WOW! 

to give you guys an update about the complaint with my students. it turns out to be that the students loved my classes but another teacher that i was replacing was mad at me for that and watched one of my classes and complained saying all that bad stuff about me. so now he's fired and the school and students still like my classes.

i just took some more pictures of china. but these ones are of our own private community. it took awhile to take these pictures because there is so much to see but i think that these few pictures will help give you an idea of what it's like. the name of the community is called "changchunmingzhu" wich means the jewel of changchun. anywase enjoy.

I had only one class today and i was excited for it. it started at 6 and i was at my school at 5 getting ready and preparing for it. it was going to be great, we were going to sing the song "what a wonderful world" by luis armstrong. and they were going to talk about recent events. Then it all went to shit when one of the staff members said that one of my students had a complaint about my class. so i called shaun (my agent) to ask him what to do and he told me to try some things new and to be very strict about my teaching methods because he says that they are exactly the way they should be, so it do. then it was time for class and i was feeling a little paranoid and nervous but i put on a beautiful fake smile and started my lesson. then my boss decides to check out my class, to see how good my teaching really is. i started with a quick review of the last class then went on to talk about some of the new news in the world, wich is a great way for them to practice their speaking skills because news can be about anything wich means they can use many different words. then my boss pulls me out of class and says that talking about the news is not a good way for the students to practice english because it is not a useful topic to talk about. so i ask all of the foreign teachers in my school "what is a good way to get the students to practice their english" and they all said that the news is the best topic to practice english because it is such a vast topic. so that was when i really started to get pissed.

and thats how one student can ruin your day.
